From a Patriots perspective, I went defense all three rounds. I love Tuitt and believe in the comparisons to Richard Seymour. He could be that good and could bring a lot to the defensive line in terms of depth an versatility. Dominque Easley could've been a top 15 pick if he hadn't had two ACL injuries. Rumor has it he is looking pretty good in his medical checkups, so if he can be the talent of a top 15 pick he would be a steal at #62. Telvin Smith is a guy I love and can fill the need of a hybrid type player that BB can move around his defense in many situations. I did not pick up a TE in the first three rounds, because quite frankly I'm not in love with any of them anymore and I don't think the Patriots are either. These picks give the Pats DE and DT depth, while also getting a hybrid OLB that can play many different roles which BB will love.

Patriots Mock Round 4-7:
  • Round 4: Kevin Norwood
  • Round 4: David Yankey
  • Round 6: Aaron Lynch
  • Round 6: Tajh Boyd
  • Round 7: Marion Grice

  1. Easley is a big-time injury risk to be drafted that high.

    1. Easley also would be a top 15 pick if he didn't have those injuries. He also has looked very good in his recent medicals. Guys come back from ACLs all the time.
